Rocky Creek Sanitary Infrastructure
In order to address out-of-date and inadequate sewer infrastructure, the Rocky Creek Sanitary Upgrade project was undertaken to increase and meet growing community demands. By replacing nearly 1.5 kilometers of sanitary pipework, including the removal and repair of stormwater mains, this project aims to improve wastewater flow and system reliability.
Due to complex and unpredictable ground conditions, this project has offered opportunities to try innovative sheet piling and deep trench lining techniques. Despite the difficult ground conditions and operational challenges, the project is on track to enhance wastewater management for the community and support future infrastructure needs.
